Promoting the union and usefulness of clergy since 1829
The Conference of Baptist Ministers in Massachusetts has been promoting the union and usefulness of American Baptist clergy since 1829, that is for the past 191 years. Though we have a rich history, we are facing challenging realities in the 21st century...
February 21st
Calling clergy to a Noon time to pause and be invited into a guided meditation and contemplative practice of breath. Give yourself an hour to step away from divisive conversations, polarizing statements, stirring newsfeeds and intentionally pause and receive gentle nourishment from the Holy Spirit. Make this hour a choice to sit, breathe and feed your soul. Rev. Sandra Dorsainvil will lead a guided meditation and time of silence.
Every 4th Tuesday of the Month
As we continue to find our way during these demanding times, it's important to explore our feelings. Of one thing we can be sure, many of us are grieving. We are grieving the deaths of beloved family, church members, friends and strangers. We are grieving losses of safety, personal freedoms, economic stability, trust, and so much more. Yet, even when struggling, we show up, preaching a Word of hope and life. There are conversations we need to have.
Are you feeling taxed as a helping professional? Seeking opportunities for self-reflection, personal growth, or connection with others in your field? If so, Boston University’s Albert and Jessie Danielsen Institute invites you to participate in a research study evaluating a new empirically-based personal and professional formation program designed specifically for mental health care workers, chaplains, and clergy.
Your volunteer CBMM Board of Directors is a Christ centered, collaborative leadership team who exemplifies spiritual maturity and faithful commitment to the membership.
To enhance the work of clergy, candidates and professional church leaders, CBMM partners with The Center for Career Development and Ministry to offer high quality programs and workshops at deeply discounted cost, and in many cases, at no cost to CBMM members.
CBMM provides a wide variety of free, professional resources for your career and ministerial development, including a template for covenant in conversation.
